Applicants who wish to be considered for a Dean’s Scholarship should submit a complete application packet by February 1st. After February 1st applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
Application Process
Parsons Graduate Programs use the “Self-Managed Application Process.” Submit your application online and submit all supplemental hardcopy materials to the address below in one packet, whenever possible. Include a Materials Cover Sheet (PDF) with your hardcopy materials.
1. Application: Complete the online application. If you cannot complete the online application, contact the Office of Admission for a paper application.
2. Application Fee: $50 non-refundable application fee is required. Only credit cards are accepted using the online application.
3. Official Transcripts: Have original, sealed copies of your official college transcripts sent to you, for submission with your application packet, or, if that is not possible, have your institution send transcripts directly to MFA ID Graduate Admissions at the address below. Photocopies are not acceptable. International Records: All applicants with international transcripts are required to submit an original transcript, a certified English language translation, and a Course-By-Course Evaluation Report with their supporting materials. 4. A brief resume (c.v.) including appropriate work experience, travel, exhibitions, etc., must be submitted online. List dates and positions held.
5. Statement of Interest and Intentions must be submitted online.
6. Two letters of recommendation from faculty or people with whom the applicant has worked professionally. These may be submitted by the references online, or, you may forward sealed references with your application packet.
7. If English is the applicant’s native language, submit scores of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and general tests (Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical Writing).
8. If English is not an applicant’s native language, then he or she must submit results of the TOEFL exam (the Test of English as a Foreign Language). See International Admission for additional information.

Additional Information
Graduate students are automatically considered for merit scholarships as part of the admission process. If you are a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen and want to be considered for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
