IESNY Thesis Prize
The IESNY Thesis Prize is awarded annually to the student for an outstanding design thesis in the Department of Architecture, Interior Design, and Lighting, Master of Fine Arts Lighting Design Parsons The New School for Design.

Teaching Assistantships
A limited number of teaching assistantships are available for qualified students in their second year of the MFA Lighting Design Program. Teaching assistantships typically involve up to six hours per week of instruction and/or related duties.

Light Lab Technician
The light lab technician manages and maintains the department's Lighting Lab and its' related resources. This paid position typically involves ten hours per week of duties in the lab and requires a basic knowledge of lighting technologies.

Academic Honors
Academic honors are awarded annually to a student for outstanding academic performance in the Department of Architecture, Interior Design, and Lighting, Master of Fine Arts Lighting Design, Parsons The New School for Design.

Departmental Honors
Departmental honors are awarded annually to a student for outstanding contributions to the Department of Architecture, Interior Design, and Lighting, Master of Fine Arts Lighting Design, Parsons The New School for Design.
